Will my bank count these as separate Direct Debits?

Yes. Each Direct Debit is set up separately and will appear as individual Direct Debits on your bank account (with the payment reference 'BonusDebits').

How long does setup take and when can I start my switch?

Many banks only count a Direct Debit as active for switch bonuses once the first payment has been taken. In most cases, the Direct Debit will appear in your bank account within 5 working days, with the first payment taken within 7 working days. We recommend starting your bank switch once the first payment appears in your transactions. Timing can vary slightly depending on your bank, the day of the week, or bank holidays.

How does billing work?

The first payment typically appears in your transactions within 7 working days from setup. After the first payment, we collect the same amount monthly. You’ll receive confirmation and payment notifications directly from Stripe.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. You can cancel through your bank at any time, or email us at contact@bonusdebits.co.uk and we’ll help. There are no cancellation fees or minimum terms. We recommend waiting until your switching bonus has been paid, or until your bank has confirmed you’ll receive it to avoid disappointment.
